I have lived with my grandparents since childhood. While growing up with them, I witnessed how rapidly advancing technology was creating new barriers in their daily lives.

Tasks that many younger people perform effortlessly like finding a song on YouTube, or making a video call, or adjusting phone settings or navigating applications often became frustrating experiences for them. Rather than assuming the issue was a lack of technical knowledge. I wanted to understand what specifically made these interactions difficult.

This project began as an attempt to observe and understand the relationship between elderly users and digital technology with a focus on identifying opportunities to make everyday interactions simpler, more intuitive and less dependent on external assistance.
